Did I mention We LOVE the Birmingham Zoo!
I am overly excited to have just heard that the Zoo has received a 15$ million renovation grant! There are things at our Zoo that need improving or tweaking.. we love it old, new. I think this is a wonderful thing to have happened to our local zoo! We recently took the children to the Zoo. We have not gone back since the winter season. Amazed as always my children find something new to talk about or see every time. I finally broke down and let my 2 oldest play in the sand pit or Fossil Finding Pit. SAND! oh my, I am a very neat person and while I don't mind dirt, sand is another category when it comes to my 2 and 6 year old. Trying to dig but we sling sand everywhere, I mean everywhere. haha! I love it though I enjoy them having fun!

After this was over we took a snack break.
We then went on to enjoy the rest of our day!
We had a wonderful time and always do!
